1947 British Speedway Riders Championship

1947 British Speedway Riders Championship
The eliminating rounds for the riders championship was run in three sections. The Qualifying Round held on Third Didision Tracts, the First Round, held on Second Division Tracks, and the Championship Round on First Division Tracks. The Championship Round was limited to 28 riders 24 of them being First Division riders and 4 of them the riders scoring the highest aggregate of points in the First Round. Seven meetings were held in the Championship Round one at each of the First Division Tracks and each rider rode at four meetings.
