Bio: Ken's career was mainly as a Belle Vue rider. He came up from the training school at Hyde Road and spent most of his racing life there. He rode one match for the Monarchs in 1948 in a National League 2nd Division match against Newcastle he failed to score from 3 races. He spent the rest of the season at Sheffield. The following year he returned to Belle Vue who he rode with for the next 8 years. In 1964 he joined Sunderland before joining Newcastle the same year where he spent two years. |
