Bio: Born in Forth, Started his career with Glasgow in 1946 moved to Bradford the following year for a whil befor returning to Glasgow. Joined the Monarchs in 1948 and raced in every Monarchs match that season. Was the first rider to score a point for the Monarchs in the clubs first match at Bristol. Joined Ashfield in 1950 and in 1951 moved to Motherwell. He was the only scottish rider to ride for all four Scottish clubs. |
