First rode at Linlithgow in 1990, and graduated to Powderhall second halves. Stylish rider, but seemed to need to be riled before he would really compete. Made a couple of senior appearances, but found it difficult to bridge the gap to senior racing, and by the time he had the benefit of regular rides at Linlithgow it was perhaps too late. Did quite well for the Lightning, but faded out of the sport early in the 1995 season. Later competed in grasstrack, and returned to Linlithgow for the Neil Hewitt Benefit in 1999. Brother Graham had a brief spell as a Powderhall junior also. |
