Bio from Friends of Edinburgh Speedway
Product of northern second halves and Conference League (with Berwick), who joined Glasgow in 1997 and became a useful second string as well as Tigers' club captain for 1999. Left out due to the points limit in 2000, invested in new equipment - and found his career heading in the opposite direction.
Joined Newcastle, but machine problems and loss of confidence affected him and he was eventually dropped from the Diamonds' side. Recalling his battling Armadale displays for Glasgow (and also guesting for Oxford in the 1997 Cup Final), Edinburgh found room for him and he made his debut as a Monarch at Arena-Essex on 27/5/2000. However the form of 1999 did not really return. Always a trier, he did contribute important race wins in away victories at Hull and Glasgow.
