The Auto Cycle Union Cup was raced between 1934 and 1938 and was revised in 1946 for one season the pre war years the competition was dominated by Belle Vue who won the competition for the first four years. West Ham won in 1938 and when the comepetition was revised in 1946 Belle Vue claimed the title back. In 1946 a second division version of the cup was also raced and Norwich were the champions.
