The 2017 championship was staged over three rounds, at Poznam, Gustrow and Pardubice, Poland's Maksym Drabik won the title with his countryman in the runners up spot. 2016 champion Max Fricke was in third place
3 qualifying rounds were held in May with the top 4 riders in each event qualifying for the Final rounds. These riders were joined by 3 permanent wild cards picked by the FIM and a wild card picked by the host nation.
