Berwick Bandits continued their recent good form by edging play-off contenders Edinburgh Monarchs in the Borders.
The league bottom-markers won 49-41 despite 12 points from Monarchs’ German racer Erik Riss.
John Campbell, Monarchs’ co-promoter, admitted the loss of skipper Sam Masters through injury cost his side.
He added that Monarchs did well to come close as they only had four race winners on the night. |
