National League Division Two 1939

The Division Two season was not completed due to the outbreak of World War II. The League had seen various changes Southampton had moved up to the First Division with Bristol moving in the opposite direction. Other new teams were Crystal Palace, Lea Bridge, West Ham Hawks Birmingham and Leeds were teams missing from the previous year. Stoke closed after 8 matches with Belle Vue Reserves taking over the remaining fixtures. Middlesbrough also closed during the season.
